UWOV Barrels of HeART Fundraiser
United Way of the Ohio Valley is very excited to announce Barrels of HeART, an event experience where art meets bourbon in the smoothest ways possible. This event will take place September 14th, 2023 from 6-9pm at the new Grand Stable event venue in Philpot, Ky.
Barrels of HeART will create an opportunity for artists of all walks of life to showcase their artwork, encourage collaboration between artists and sponsors, and bring to community together to enjoy this unique event. Barrels of HeART has only ever been done one other time in Louisville, KY. This will be the second city in Kentucky to ever see this event! Barrels of HeART will showcase Kentucky history through the creation of art onto bourbon barrels. From the derby to bluegrass to the bourbon trail, Kentucky has a lot of history to be painted.
United Way of the Ohio Valley will host more than 300 people at the Grand Stable event venue. We will also host the renowned and talented artist Aaron Kizer for a live speed painting performance during the event. There will be a bourbon raffle (including a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle), a silent auction of other bourbon-themed art, hors d’oeuvres, and live music.
We request that you consider joining us as one of our sponsors for the event. Your sponsorship will cover the art supplies and barrel costs for the artists to have the ability to express their creativity on the barrel. After the event, you will have the option to keep your painted barrel or donate it back to a live auction at the event. This is a great event to showcase your involvement in the community as well as show your support for the local non-profits, as all profits from this event will go back to the non-profit communities.
