To provide the most current and accurate information for our citizens, in response to the outbreak of COVID-19, United Way of the Ohio Valley requests all agencies currently listed in the 2-1-1 database to update their information immediately if there have been any changes in their service delivery. Changes may include but are not limited too; change in business hours or requirements, services or service delivery, and special services provided outside the normal scope of the organization.

2-1-1 is a free and confidential health and human resource guide that can be accessed through dialing 211, texting your zip code to 898211, downloading the Green River 2-1-1 app or visiting www.GreenRiver211.org. Green River 211 serves Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union and Webster Counties, giving those residents access to information and referral services 24/7, 365 days a year. Individuals in need of assistance and support no longer need to wonder where they can find help. The 2-1-1 service connects individuals to the relief they need, right when they need it.

United Way is asking all organizations providing services in the GRADD region to alert us of any modified office hours and cancellations or changes in service. As always, United Way is most concerned about the health and safety of all people, especially those most vulnerable populations. Providing us this information will ensure that accurate information is available to the community via the 2-1-1 system during this dynamic situation. Please submit all updates to Blaine Mathew, 2-1-1 Manager, Special Events Coordinator, at bmathew@uwov.org.
